Description
The rim professor ultrasonic wheel washing system is an efficient and effective solution that fully meets the requirements for complete wheel and rim cleaning. The machine cleans quickly and thoroughly, protects the material and is also cost-efficient.
With the proven system of ultrasonic cleaning, you also save yourself the disadvantages of conventional granulate and high-pressure washing systems. Because we also had such systems in use for a while and struggled with their deficits. This, in turn, prompted us to pursue alternative approaches. We came across the following solution: The concept of ultrasonic cleaning of rims and complete wheels.
The advantage of our ultrasonic cleaning system compared to a conventional wheel washing machine lies in the ultrasonic cleaning process itself.
During ultrasonic cleaning, sound waves are generated that constantly vibrate the water. This creates over- and under-pressure in the liquid, which in turn leads to the formation of bubbles. As soon as these tiny bubbles burst due to constant friction, a lot of energy is released. This creates forces of up to 1000 bar and temperatures of 5,500 °C for a short time in the micro range. However, since this occurs in a similarly small range as that of the size of the dirt particles, the pressure waves have an enormous impact on the deposits. In addition, the pressure wave generates a water jet, the so-called micro-jet, which completely removes the remaining impurities.
The advantage of the ultrasonic cleaning process is that the bubbles penetrate into the most inaccessible areas. Therefore, an optimal pre-cleaning before sensitive work steps, such as CNC bright turning or powder coating of rims, is possible. Depending on the degree of soiling, the cleaning time is only 60-180 seconds.
