PU Flip Flop Rainbow – Transparent powder coatings for impressive surfaces

The PU Flip Flop Rainbow from Felgenprofessors is a transparent, individually colored powder coating that offers a fascinating depth effect and intense colors. Ideal for applications on vehicles, rims, motorcycles, bicycles as well as technical and architectural surfaces. For the best candy effect, we recommend using our PU High Mirror Chrome.

Color intensity and choice of background

The intensity of the glaze varies depending on the surface. The thickness of the layer also influences the color tone - the thicker the glaze, the more intense the color. Test the combination on a sample sheet to achieve the desired result.

Application

The PU Flip Flop Rainbow is suitable for the electrostatic (corona) and tribo process . Make sure it is processed correctly to achieve optimal adhesion and the desired effect.

Characteristics:

  • This powder is based on a polyurethane resin
  • The material is TGIC and heavy metal free

Powder coatings based on polyurethane resins are characterized by their high weather resistance as well as their good mechanical and chemical properties, such as acid, chemical and solvent resistance.

Pretreatment

Remove grease, oil, scale and oxidation from the surface for better adhesion.

Recommendation for outdoor use

After the primer and the substrate have been baked, the PU Flip Flop Rainbow can be applied. Use several layers, e.g. primer + substrate + glaze + clear varnish. Our acrylic clear powder protects the color from UV radiation and increases durability.

Curing conditions

Recommended baking temperature and duration:
