Deep Red Candy Lasur – Transparent powder coatings for impressive surfaces

The Deep Red Candy glaze from Felgenprofessors is a transparent, individually colored powder coating that offers a fascinating depth effect and intensive stability. Ideal for applications on rims, add-on parts and technical and architectural surfaces. For the best candy effect, we recommend using our PU High Mirror Chrome.

Color intensity and choice of background

The intensity of the glaze varies depending on the surface. The thickness of the layer also influences the color tone - the thicker the glaze, the more intense the color. Test the combination on a sample sheet to achieve the desired result.

Application

The Deep Red Candy glaze is suitable for the electrostatic (corona) and tribo process . Make sure it is applied correctly to achieve optimal adhesion and the desired effect.

Characteristics

• This powder is based on a polyester resin
• The material is TGIC and heavy metal free

Powder coatings based on polyester resins are characterized by their light and weather resistance, which result from the very high gloss and color stability. Polyester resin powder coatings remain stable even in the event of strong temperature fluctuations and have good mechanical properties such as high impact resistance.

Pretreatment

Remove grease, oil, scale and oxidation from the surface for better adhesion.

Recommendation for outdoor use

After the primer and the substrate have been baked, the Deep Red Candy glaze can be applied. Use several layers, e.g. primer + PU High Mirror Chrome + glaze. Our acrylic clear powder protects the color from UV radiation and increases durability.

Curing conditions

Recommended baking temperature and duration:

• 170 °C for 15 minutes
